Le Brache Villa di Bellagio (Italian)
History of a marvelous country villa
Villa Le Brache has been purchased by Italian Soka Gakkai in 1986 and is the association headquarter.
After many years of ruin, it has been renovated thanks to the will of Daisaku Ikeda, president of Soka Gakkai International, and to the efforts of many volunteers from all Italy. It is used as religious facility and culture center and receives thousands of visitors every year. After having been an elegant manor in Renaissance period, it has become the home to a new Renaissance which pursues the ideals of a new awakening to life for human beings.
