A Conversation with Kaneko Ikeda
"I love my mother and the way she lives: sincerely, honestly, embracing her mission in life with wholehearted integrity. I see her as an ordinary woman who, by taking on life in a straightforward manner, exemplifies greatness. I do not remember her ever raising her voice even once to me or to my brothers. Her perennial smile, no matter what the situation, is what I do remember. I see her as a woman whom no hardship can defeat.
